Our firm represents many different owners and developers of multifamily properties and projects of all sizes, including mixed-use projects, throughout Washington state and the western United States.  We assist our clients in all phases of such projects – acquisitions, entity formation, joint venture negotiations, construction contract negotiations, development agreements, construction and permanent financing, refinances or recapitalizations, 1031 exchanges and sales.  We have extensive experience in this asset class negotiating loan term sheets and loan documents for all financing types, phases and amounts (both debt and equity), and have frequently represented multifamily owners, developers and syndicators in negotiating with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae approved lenders, life insurance companies, commercial banks and private lenders on such transactions. 

We also counsel our multifamily clients regarding leasing matters, particularly commercial leases for ground floor uses in a mixed-use setting, and property management, construction and vendor contract issues and negotiations.
